Registered Nurse in Hilo, Hawai We are seeking a skilled and experienced RN Circulator to join our team in Hilo, HI. As an Operating Room RN Circulator, you will be responsible for circulating various types of procedures such as General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, and Gynecology. Your duties will include circulating cases, helping with turnover cleaning, transporting patients when needed, and scheduling cases. You will be working with state-of-the-art equipment such as Meditech and PYXIS. Requirements: 2 to 3 years of experience circulating cases in a hospital setting BLS certification and a valid State of Hawaii RN license Ability to scrub cases is preferred The Operating Room RN Circulator will work Monday through Friday from 0645 to 2315. The shifts may be variable based on department needs. Travelers will be scheduled for 40 hours a week, with the possibility of 32 hours if there is a holiday. Everyone is assigned call, on average 1-2 times a week plus up to 2 weekends a month. **Must be within 30 minute radius of hospital for call back. We have 6 OR suites plus one dedicated to C-sections. Daily, we have 4 to 6 rooms running simultaneously. We are a small but very busy and efficient OR, where scrubs are provided.
