Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled RN Acute Med Surgical to join our dynamic healthcare team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting, working closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assess and monitor patient conditions, including vital signs and symptoms.
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
4. Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
6. Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure patient safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
7. Assist with procedures and surgeries as needed.
8. Respond to emergencies and provide critical care as necessary.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute med surgical nursing.
3. BLS and ACLS certifications.
4. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
7. Proficiency in electronic health records and medical software.
