Job Title: Human Resources Director
Job Summary:
The Human Resources Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management, including recruitment, training, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws. They will develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure a positive work environment and promote employee engagement.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Manage the recruitment and onboarding process for new employees
- Oversee training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance
- Handle employee relations issues and grievances in a timely and effective manner
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations
- Administer benefits programs and manage employee compensation
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees and managers
- Collaborate with department heads to determine staffing needs and address HR-related issues
- Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team and promote a positive work culture
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field
- 5+ years of experience in HR management role
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership and decision-making abilities
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
