Job Title: Director of Rehabilitation Services
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Rehabilitation Services to oversee and coordinate all aspects of our rehabilitation programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing the rehabilitation services, ensuring quality care and efficient operations. This role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, medical professionals, and administrative staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance rehabilitation services
- Supervise and manage a team of therapists and support staff
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies
- Collaborate with medical professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Oversee budgeting and financial management of the rehabilitation department
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and services
- Provide leadership and support to staff members
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient records
- Coordinate with insurance providers and other stakeholders to ensure payment for services
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or related field
- Licensed as a therapist in the state of practice
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a rehabilitation setting, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
