Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Job Summary:
As a CRNA, you will be responsible for providing anesthesia care for patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. You will work closely with the healthcare team to ensure the safety and comfort of patients undergoing procedures that require anesthesia.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administer anesthesia to patients before and during surgical procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to create individualized anesthesia care plans
- Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring to ensure patient safety
- Educate patients on anesthesia and post-operative care
- Stay current on anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Current certification as a CRNA
- State licensure as a registered nurse
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
