Job title: Human Resources Generalist
Job Summary:
The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level, working closely with management and employees across all departments. This role will involve providing support in various HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, and compliance with labor laws.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist in recruitment efforts by posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process
- Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
- Manage employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Administer HR policies and procedures, including updating employee handbooks and manuals
- Conduct training sessions on HR-related topics for employees and supervisors
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HRIS
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve overall employee experience
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- 2+ years of experience in HR generalist role
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
