Job Title: Nursing Home Administrator
Job Summary:
As a Nursing Home Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and management of a skilled nursing facility. You will ensure the quality of care provided to residents, compliance with regulatory standards, and the overall success of the facility.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Oversee daily operations of the nursing home
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure quality care for residents
- Manage staff and provide leadership and support
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Manage budget and financial resources
- Communicate with residents, families, and staff to address concerns and maintain a positive environment
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for residents
- Evaluate and improve the quality of care and services provided
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field
- Licensed Nursing Home Administrator
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare management, preferably in a long-term care facility
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to skilled nursing facilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and make decisions under pressure
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
