Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner
Job Summary:
The Family Nurse Practitioner will provide primary care to patients of all ages, focusing on preventative care, health promotion, and disease management. They will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive and efficient care to families.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct physical exams and obtain medical histories from patients of all ages
2. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
3. Order and interpret diagnostic tests
4. Develop and implement treatment plans
5. Provide patient education on various health topics
6. Prescribe medications as needed
7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives
10. Stay current on new developments in healthcare and medical research
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
2. Current RN license and certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
3. Clinical experience in primary care or family medicine
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
7. Proficiency in electronic health records systems
