The Emergency Room (ER) Nurse provides rapid, high-quality nursing care to patients in emergency situations. This role includes triaging patients, stabilizing critical conditions, and collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver urgent, life-saving interventions in a fast-paced environment.
Perform triage, initial assessments, and continuous monitoring of patients
Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency interventions
Assist in trauma resuscitation, cardiac arrest, and code blue situations
Document care in real-time using electronic medical records (EMR)
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and EMS personnel
Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and follow-up
Maintain strict adherence to safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines
Respond to a wide range of medical emergencies across all age groups
Active RN license in [State]
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
BLS, ACLS, PALS required; TNCC and ENPC preferred
1–2+ years of clinical experience in Emergency or Critical Care preferred
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and respond calmly in high-pressure situations
