RN Nurse Manager – Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology
We are seeking a skilled and experienced RN Nurse Manager to lead our Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR) units. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality patient care, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and effective staff management within both specialty areas.
You will oversee nursing staff, collaborate with physicians and technicians, and ensure a safe, efficient, and high-performing clinical environment.
Provide direct supervision and leadership to Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology nursing teams
Coordinate daily operations including patient scheduling, staffing, and workflow management
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and patient safety protocols
Promote evidence-based practices in cardiovascular and interventional care
Facilitate education, onboarding, and professional development for nursing staff
Participate in budgeting, supply management, and equipment maintenance
Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Act as a clinical resource and patient advocate in high-acuity procedures
Active RN license (BSN required, MSN preferred)
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology
Prior leadership or nurse management experience preferred
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Strong communication, team-building, and critical thinking skills
Knowledge of EPIC or similar EMR systems is a plus
Familiarity with JCAHO and regulatory compliance standards
Hospital-based Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology Suites
High-acuity procedural setting
