📝 Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Manager to lead and manage the clinical operations of our Emergency Department (ED). The ideal candidate will ensure quality patient care, staff development, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency in a high-pressure environment.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

Lead daily operations of the Emergency Department, ensuring high standards of care
Manage, mentor, and support nursing staff, including hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and evaluations
Promote evidence-based nursing practice and continuous professional development
Collaborate with ED physicians, hospitalists, and ancillary services for seamless patient flow
Monitor quality indicators, safety metrics, and compliance with local/state/federal regulations
Participate in budgeting, resource allocation, and policy development
Develop and maintain emergency preparedness protocols and rapid response readiness
Ensure patient satisfaction and foster a culture of compassion and accountability
Lead performance improvement projects and root cause analyses when necessary

🎓 Qualifications:

Current RN license (state-specific)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred
5+ years of nursing experience in Emergency Department; 2+ years in a leadership role
BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required; TNCC or ENPC preferred
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Proficiency in EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)

🌟 Preferred Skills:

Crisis management, trauma care, or critical care background
Experience with ED throughput and patient satisfaction initiatives
Lean Six Sigma or quality improvement training a plus
