We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Surgical Unit team. The RN Surgical plays a vital role in delivering preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care to patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and committed to delivering safe, high-quality, and compassionate care.
Provide direct nursing care to surgical patients before and after procedures
Monitor patient status, manage pain, and respond to changes in condition
Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
Assist in wound care, dressing changes, and drain management
Educate patients and families on postoperative recovery, medications, and discharge instructions
Ensure proper documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
Adhere to infection control protocols and surgical unit best practices
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, nursing standards, and regulatory requirements
Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS and ACLS certification required
1+ years of surgical, med-surg, or acute care nursing experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with diverse surgical caseloads
Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
