Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our medical/surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide quality care for patients recovering from surgeries, illnesses, or injuries. This position requires close attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess and monitor patients' conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Previous experience in a medical/surgical setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- BLS and ACLS certifications
