Job Title: Registered Nurse Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As an ICU Nurse, you will provide critical care to patients who are seriously ill or injured. Your role will involve monitoring patients, administering medications, performing procedures, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Monitor and assess patients' conditions in the ICU
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
3. Perform procedures such as inserting IV lines and intubating patients
4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
5. Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment options
6. Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records
7. Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times
8. Respond to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) preferred
- At least 1-2 years of experience in an ICU setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
