Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Operating Room team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care during surgical procedures, collaborating with the surgical team to achieve successful outcomes, and ensuring a safe and efficient operating room environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assessing patients before, during, and after surgery.
2. Planning and implementing patient care plans.
3. Administering medications and anesthesia.
4. Assisting surgeons during procedures.
5. Monitoring patient vital signs.
6. Educating patients and families about the surgical process.
7. Maintaining accurate medical records.
8. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals as needed.
9. Ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and guidelines.
10. Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current RN license.
2. BSN degree preferred.
3. At least 2 years of operating room experience.
4. BLS and ACLS certifications.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work well under pressure.
7. Attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
9. Flexibility and adaptability.
10. Strong organizational skills.
