Job Title: Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care and support to expectant mothers throughout the labor and delivery process, ensuring the health and well-being of both mother and baby.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitoring vital signs and fetal heart rates during labor
- Administering medications and pain relief as needed
- Assisting with deliveries and providing postpartum care to mothers and newborns
- Educating patients on childbirth, breastfeeding, and newborn care
- Collaborating with doctors and other healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans
- Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Certification in Inpatient Obstetrics or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
