We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Endoscopy Unit. The Endoscopy RN will provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and high-quality care throughout the perioperative process.
Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures, including assessment, IV initiation, and education.
Assist gastroenterologists during procedures such as colonoscopies, EGDs, ERCPs, and other advanced interventions.
Administer sedation and monitor patient responses, vital signs, and overall safety.
Provide post-procedure care, discharge teaching, and patient/family education.
Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation.
Ensure adherence to infection control, patient safety, and hospital policies.
Collaborate with physicians, techs, and interdisciplinary staff to achieve excellent outcomes.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific).
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in endoscopy, perioperative, or critical care nursing preferred.
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and IV skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on patient care and safety.
