Job Title: Registered Nurse Float / Resource Pool
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse to join our float/resource pool team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work in a variety of clinical settings and provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a member of the float/resource pool, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations and collaborate with different healthcare teams.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient progress and update medical records accordingly
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BLS certification required, ACLS certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in acute care settings
- Strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing work environments
