Job Title: Registered Nurse Step Down / Telemetry
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Step Down / Telemetry units to join our team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while monitoring and interpreting telemetry readings. The ideal candidate will have excellent critical thinking skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor patients' telemetry readings and report any abnormalities to the medical team
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Work with patients to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Ensure patient safety at all times
- Assist with basic nursing duties as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Proven experience working in a Step Down / Telemetry unit
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
