Job Title: Registered Nurse MedSurg / Telemetry
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse MedSurg / Telemetry will provide expert nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical and telemetry unit. They will assess patient conditions, administer medications, and monitor vital signs to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess and monitor patient conditions, including vital signs and symptoms
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
- Coordinate patient care with other healthcare providers
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- CPR certification
- Previous experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry unit
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in patient care
