Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic medical setting.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
2. Monitoring and administering medications and treatments.
3. Collaborating with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
4. Educating patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans.
5. Documenting patient progress and updating medical records.
6. Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
7. Responding to medical emergencies and providing urgent care as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical/surgical nursing.
3. BLS and ACLS certification.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
6. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
7. Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
