Job Title: Registered Nurse - Critical Care
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our critical care unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to critically ill patients and support their families during challenging times. As a critical care nurse, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, monitor, and manage patients in the intensive care unit.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assess and prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced critical care environment.
2. Monitor vital signs and administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
3. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
4. Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
5. Perform advanced procedures such as intubation, central line insertions, and ventilator management.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Active RN license in the state of practice.
2. BLS and ACLS certification.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care nursing.
4. Strong clinical assessment skills and critical thinking ability.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
6. Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in high-stress situations.
