Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing compassionate and high-quality patient care in emergency situations. The Registered Nurse will work closely with other healthcare professionals to assess, treat, and stabilize patients in critical condition.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assess and triage patients in the Emergency Department
2. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
3. Monitor and record patient vital signs
4. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
5. Respond to medical emergencies and provide life-saving interventions
6. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
8. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of employment
2. BLS certification
3. ACLS certification
4. PALS certification
5. Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
7. Ability to work well under pressure and in high-stress situations
8. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
9. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
