Job Title: Registered Nurse - MedSurg / Telemetry
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our MedSurg / Telemetry team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, utilizing their skills in assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, observing any changes and communicating with healthcare team members
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care
- Educate patients and their families on their conditions and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a MedSurg / Telemetry setting
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
