Job Title: Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intermediate Care team. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients who require intermediate-level medical attention. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of patients' conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention
- Assist with procedures and treatments
- Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times
- Document all aspects of patient care accurately and timely
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
