Job Title: Registered Nurse - Med Surg / Telemetry
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg / Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and ensure the highest level of patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Med Surg / Telemetry unit
- Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry readings
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- BLS certification
- 2+ years of nursing experience in a similar setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
