Job title: Registered Nurse - Progressive Care
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients who are recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. The Registered Nurse will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to monitor patient progress, administer medication, and educate patients and their families on recovery plans.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Monitor and assess patient conditions and provide appropriate care.
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
3. Educate patients and their families on post-acute care plans.
4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans.
5. Ensure patient comfort and safety at all times.
6. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a progressive care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
