Job Title: Registered Nurse Neurovascular ICU
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Neurovascular Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing compassionate and high-quality care to patients with neurovascular conditions. This role requires strong critical thinking skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor and assess patients' neurological status and vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment options, and post-hospitalization care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Respond to emergent situations and provide timely interventions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing education opportunities
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a neurovascular ICU setting
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Attention to detail and critical thinking abilities
