We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our surgical services team. The OR RN plays a critical role in perioperative care by ensuring patient safety, supporting surgeons, and maintaining sterile technique throughout surgical procedures.
Provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care to surgical patients.
Prepare the operating room with necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies.
Verify patient identity, consent, and surgical site in compliance with safety protocols.
Assist the surgical team during procedures by anticipating needs and ensuring sterile field integrity.
Monitor patient status, vital signs, and anesthesia response during surgery.
Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists for safe and efficient case flow.
Maintain adherence to infection control and hospital safety policies.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific).
BLS and ACLS certifications required (CNOR preferred).
Minimum 1–2 years of perioperative or surgical nursing experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile technique, and perioperative standards.
