Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our MedSurg / Telemetry team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assessing and prioritizing patient needs.
2. Monitoring patients' condition and vital signs.
3. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
4. Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare team members.
5. Educating patients and their families on treatment plans and self-care.
6. Documenting patient information accurately and thoroughly.
7. Ensuring patient safety and comfort.
8. Participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Active RN license in the state of practice.
2. BLS certification.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in MedSurg / Telemetry.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
7. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
