Job Title: Registered Nurse Critical Care
Job Summary:
Our healthcare facility is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high quality care to critically ill patients, monitoring their condition, and administering treatment as needed. The Registered Nurse Critical Care will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assessing and monitoring critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
2. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
3. Implementing and managing patient care plans.
4. Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
5. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
6. Educating patients and their families on their condition and treatment options.
7. Responding to medical emergencies and providing necessary interventions.
8. Participating in quality improvement initiatives and research projects.
9. Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures.
10. Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Critical Care nursing preferred.
3. BLS and ACLS certification.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
6. Excellent critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
7. Attention to detail and accuracy in patient assessments.
8. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
9. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
10. Ability to work well in a team setting.
