Job title: Registered Nurse Oncology
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse Oncology to provide specialized care for patients undergoing cancer treatment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology nursing and a passion for helping patients navigate their cancer journeys with empathy and expertise.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administer chemotherapy and other cancer treatments according to physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and reactions to treatments, adjusting care plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on cancer diagnosis, treatment options, and side effects
- Collaborate with oncologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans for patients
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients facing the challenges of cancer treatment
- Document patient care and treatment outcomes accurately and thoroughly
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license and certification in oncology nursing
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology nursing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
