Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Critical Care
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Critical Care team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care to patients with cardiovascular issues in a critical care setting. This role requires excellent critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Monitor and assess patients' cardiovascular status
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
3. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
4. Respond quickly to changes in patients' conditions and provide appropriate interventions
5. Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health and treatment options
6. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
7. Assist with cardiac procedures and surgeries as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice
2. BLS and ACLS certification
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care, preferably in a cardiovascular setting
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
6. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
7. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
