Job Title: Registered Nurse OR RN (Operating Room) in King City, CA
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse OR RN to join our operating room team in King City, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patient care during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, and providing post-operative care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Assess patients' conditions before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia administration during surgery
• Develop and execute patient care plans
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patients receive the proper care
• Offer emotional support to patients and their families
• Maintain proper documentation of patient care and medical records
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Serve as a patient advocate to ensure their needs and preferences are met
• Participate in the orientation and training of new staff members
Qualifications and Skills:
• RN license in the state of California
• Previous experience in an operating room setting
• Knowledge of surgical procedures and anesthesia administration
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
• Ability to work independently and as a team player
• BLS certification
