Job Title: Registered Nurse Oncology Infusion RN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse Oncology Infusion RN to join our dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide oncology infusion treatments to patients in Bozeman, MT. The Registered Nurse Oncology Infusion RN will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to provide excellent quality care to our patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administering chemotherapy, blood products, and other prescribed medications to oncology patients.
- Monitoring patients for any adverse reactions to medications.
- Educating patients and their families about their treatment options and managing side effects.
- Documenting patient care and treatment plans in electronic medical records.
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for patients.
- Maintaining accurate medication inventory and storage systems.
- Adhering to infection control and other safety protocols.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A valid RN license in the state of Montana.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology infusion.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
