Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Med/Surg
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med/Surg team. As a Med/Surg nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with medical and surgical conditions. You will work closely with physicians, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess and monitor patients' conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Participate in patient rounds and meetings with the healthcare team
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- BLS certification
- Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Compassion and empathy for patients
