Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Med/Surg
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med/Surg team. The ideal candidate will provide quality care to patients in the medical-surgical unit, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure the delivery of safe and efficient patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Med/Surg unit
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and document patient progress and vital signs
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
- Educate patients and families on their conditions and treatment plans
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR)
