Job Title: Registered Nurse - Med Surg RN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg team. The ideal candidate will provide quality care to patients in a medical-surgical setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being throughout their hospital stay.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the Med Surg unit
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Educating patients and families on their condition and treatment plan
- Monitoring and documenting patient vital signs and other pertinent information
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
