Job title: Registered Nurse Adult Psych RN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse Adult Psych RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide quality care to adult patients with psychiatric conditions, ensuring their safety and well-being. The Registered Nurse Adult Psych RN will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess the mental health needs of adult patients and develop care plans
- Provide medication management and monitoring
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Provide crisis intervention and support to patients in acute distress
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in psychiatric nursing
- BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment modalities
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
