Job Title: Registered Nurse, Critical Access
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse working in a Critical Access facility, you will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a rural healthcare setting. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, while ensuring that the unique needs of each patient are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide holistic patient care
- Educate patients and their families about their health conditions and treatment options
- Ensure that all nursing procedures and protocols are followed to maintain patient safety
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Prior experience in a critical access or rural healthcare setting preferred
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of best practices in nursing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Willingness to adapt to changing healthcare environments
