Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team on the Med/Surg Unit. As a vital member of the healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing and evaluating patient care needs
- Collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop individualized care plans
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitoring patients' progress and making adjustments to care plans as necessary
- Educating patients and their families on medical conditions and treatment plans
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- BLS certification
- Previous experience in a medical/surgical setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
