Job Title: PCU/RN (Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PCU/RN to join our healthcare team. The PCU/RN will provide high-quality care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit, monitoring their condition and administering medication as needed. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing and monitoring patients' condition
- Administering medication and treatments
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educating patients and their families on treatment plans and post-discharge care
- Keeping accurate and detailed patient records
- Assisting with emergency procedures as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of PCU experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
