Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The Emergency Room Nurse will provide care and treatment to patients experiencing acute injuries or illnesses in the emergency department. This position requires quick thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Triage patients based on severity of condition
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide ongoing assessment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Assist in emergency procedures and surgeries as needed
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency room setting
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
