Job Title: Registered Nurse - Med Surg Adult
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Med Surg Adult unit. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate and high-quality care to adult patients with a variety of medical-surgical conditions. As a key member of the healthcare team, the Registered Nurse will assess patient needs, develop care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess patients' health status and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and post-discharge care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and confidentiality
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
