Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to oversee and coordinate patient care in our healthcare facility. The RN Supervisor will work closely with the nursing staff to ensure quality care and adherence to policies and procedures. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to make quick decisions in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Coordinate and supervise the nursing staff to provide excellent patient care
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, and update treatment plans as needed
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and protocols
- Communicate patient progress and concerns to physicians and other healthcare providers
- Provide training and guidance to nursing staff as needed
- Assist with hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations of nursing staff
- Oversee medication administration and ensure proper documentation
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of employment
- Proven experience as a Registered Nurse in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and protocols
- CPR certification
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
