Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This individual will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conducting tests and analysis on patient samples
- Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment
- Recording and interpreting results
- Communicating findings to healthcare providers
- Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
- Participating in quality control and quality assurance activities
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field for Medical Technologist
- Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology for Medical Laboratory Technician
- Certification from a recognized accrediting agency
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques
