Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Obstetrics RN and Labor and Delivery to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns during the labor and delivery process, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for both patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Monitor and assess the health of pregnant women and their unborn babies during labor and delivery.
2. Administer medications and pain management techniques as needed.
3. Assist with birthing procedures and support new mothers in breastfeeding their infants.
4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
5. Educate patients on proper prenatal and postpartum care to promote healthy outcomes.
6. Document patient information accurately and maintain patient records.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current RN license in the state of practice.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
3. Certification in Obstetrics RN or Labor and Delivery Nursing.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions under pressure.
