Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room Nurse
Job Summary:
As a Travel RN specializing in Emergency Room nursing, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in urgent medical situations. You will work in various healthcare facilities across the United States, offering your expertise and compassion to those in need of immediate medical attention.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assessing and triaging patients upon arrival in the emergency room
2. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
3. Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to changes in condition
4. Performing emergency procedures as needed, such as CPR or intubation
5. Educating patients and families on post-treatment care and follow-up instructions
6. Collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
7. Documenting patient care accurately and thoroughly in accordance with regulatory standards
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active RN license in the state(s) of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency room nursing
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt to new environments and work effectively in high-stress situations
- Willingness to travel and work flexible schedules
