Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - RN Chemical Dependency (Alcohol and Addiction RN)
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse specializing in Chemical Dependency, you will be responsible for providing quality care and support to individuals struggling with alcohol and addiction issues. You will work closely with patients, their families, and a multi-disciplinary team to develop treatment plans and ensure comprehensive care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assessing patients' physical and mental health needs
2. Developing and implementing individualized care plans
3. Administering medications and treatments
4. Educating patients and their families on addiction and recovery
5. Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
6. Collaborating with therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals
7. Providing emotional support and counseling to patients
8. Documenting patient information and progress accurately
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current RN license in the state of practice
2. Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
3. Previous experience working with patients with chemical dependency
4. Knowledge of addiction treatment modalities
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
7. Compassionate and non-judgmental attitude
8. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
