Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Med-surg Adult
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Registered Nurse to join our team and provide care for adult patients in the medical-surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare, excellent clinical skills, and a desire to travel and explore new locations while advancing their career as a nurse.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the medical-surgical unit
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care for adult patients
- Administering medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by physicians
- Monitoring patient progress and vital signs, and reporting any changes to healthcare team
- Educating patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques
- Maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to travel to different locations for assignments
